BERNARDELLI PA12 Pump Shotguns
The new family of pump action shotguns has been studied and designed to better serve the sectors of self-defense, dynamic shooting and law enforcement. These guns are all derived from our semiautomatic shotguns with which they share the same main features, materials and surface treatments. Bernardelli pump action guns are as robust as our autoloaders and they are tested at the National Proof House with steel shot (“CIP Steel Shot Test”). Thanks to the manual loading system, they can shoot all 12 ga cartridges with either 70 or 76 mm chambers (lethal and non lethal). Barrels are Magnum chambered (3”) and can be 51-cm, 46-cm or 36-cm long. Magazine capacity changes based on barrel length as described below:
|Barrel length||Numbers of rounds in the chamber with Magnum loads|
|51 cm. (20”)||6|
|46 cm. (18”)||4|
|36 cm. (14”)||4|
Stocks and forends are formed from techno-polymers that are light and impervious to weather, but also more resistant and elastic. Stocks come in three different configurations: standard, adjustable and folding. Forends can be either short or long.
The models are all named based on the type of stock they feature:
- PA 12 STD
- PA 12 TELESCOPIC
- PA 12 FOLDING
In the nearby pictures gallery you can see: - Interchangeable chokes 1* o 2* (Picture 1). - Different types of Receiver: without and with Picatinny (Picure 2 and 3) - Different types of Stock: Standard, Adjustable, Folding. (Picture 4, 5 and 6) - Different types of Forends: Short and Long. (Picture 7 and 8) - Muzzle brake (Picture 9)
The main image in each model technical data sheet features that model in its basic configuration. As most features are interchangeable, by combining the different types of frames, barrels, stocks and forends available, one can create multiple versions some of which can be seen here. (Picture 10, 11 and 12)
The only impossible combination is between a folding stock and a receiver with Picatinny rail.
